Lantic Entertainment Systems will restart as a distinct business entity from its base in Risskov, Denmark, but will benefit from the substantial international distribution capabilities of its new parent company and business partner, as well as access to greater resources for its research and development programme. Alewijnse Marine Systems and Marine AV will jointly drive one of the most prestigious names in marine entertainment systems, and have a flagship brand to spearhead their expansion within this exciting and fast-moving sector.

Marine AV is already the leading supplier of high quality marine audio and visual products in Europe and has over fifteen years experience in the sector.

Lantic Entertainment Systems will re-establish itself to deliver integrated entertainment solutions to owners and operators seeking the very best. Current development programmes include improvements in iPod compatibility and integration, enhanced delivery of HD programming, and improved solutions for realtime data streaming. The iconic Lantic remote control keypad is widely recognised as a benchmark of technological capability and sophistication.

Lantic Systems A/S in bankruptcy
Alewijnse of the Netherlands has on May 12th 2009 purchased the “Assets” of Lantic Systems A/S, the leading supplier of bespoke integrated entertainment systems for the Superyacht market based in Denmark, which was declared bankrupt on 27th of March 2009.
Lantic Entertainment Systems will restart as a distinct business entity from its base in Risskov, Denmark, but will benefit from the substantial international Service and Distribution capabilities of Alewijnse Marine Systems, its new parent company, as well as access to greater resources for its research and development programme. Alewijnse Marine Systems provides technical services, innovative electrical engineering and ICT solutions to owners and builders in the Superyacht, Commercial and Navy sectors.

For all products delivered and or manufactured by the former “Lantic Systems A/S” before the above date of purchase, Alewijnse Marine Systems is investigating what service levels can be offered for these products.
